When launching into the next wave or surfing, the long deck promotes a dryer ride and pearling resistance. Both ends are segregated from the cockpit by watertight bulkheads. The Swede form hull also provides excellent stability, with only the paddler,  and it even performs better when loaded heavy with gear. The hatches are flush to reduce wind resistance and spray.  They are held in place by two 1/4 turn cam latches that  pull down and hold the seal tight against the second seal.

The seat is of molded fiberglass designed to eliminate pressure points complete with an adjustable backrest that curves around your body, to provide indexing stability for the paddler when the boat is on edge.  Our butterfly peddle system is a unique design first prototyped in 1969.  It provides for firm heel placing while allowing the ball of your foot to pivot the peddle. 

A center strap attached to the seat takes all the forward force of your legs. Therefore the rudder cables only require a light force to steer.  This system achieves the exceptional ability of snug fitting different sized paddlers.  Knee indexing is maintained with the rudder up or down and during turns.
